Since 2015, he has facilitated learning and development sessions and spoken at over fifty colleges, conferences, organizations, and Fortune 500 companies. In 2017, Torin was nominated for the Rosoff Award as a twentysomething leading the way for a new vision of diversity and inclusion. He is a One Young World Ambassador, StartingBloc Fellow, Posse Scholar and inaugural class member of the TED Residency, an incubator for breakthrough ideas.

With a focus on inspiring inclusive leadership and authentic personal storytelling, Torin is a transformative force guiding organizations to realize the potential of their people. His methods are grounded in psychology, and he has practiced as a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and Mind Gym Coach Facilitator. Since 2015, Torin has consistently delivered outstanding learning experiences and speaking engagements to over 50 organizations, including Fortune 500 companies, with a 94% overall positive feedback rating average.
Torin's work is greatly inspired by his mentor Frances Hesselbein, the former CEO of the Girl Scouts of the USA who received the Presidential Medal of Freedom for being a pioneer for women, diversity, and opportunity. In one award nomination submission, she wrote, “Torin is an inclusive leader who has a deep fascination with understanding people. His travels around the world have greatly shaped his ability to relate to and impact people across cultures and industries.”
In 2016, Torin was selected to join the first class of the TED Residency, an incubator for breakthrough ideas. For 3 months he worked out of TED headquarters on evangelizing DreamAfrica — a startup that has been influential in promoting cultural representation and inspiring cultural understanding. In this community, he has continued to lend his expertise to give guidance and coaching to the dozens of Residents giving TED Talks. Residents who have worked with Torin have collectively received over 12 million views of their talks on TED.com
Torin is a One Young World Ambassador, StartingBloc Fellow, Posse Scholar, and 2017 nominee for the Rosoff Award as a 20-something leading the way for his generation with a new vision for diversity & inclusion. His journey in D&I began when he was in digital advertising sales at Bloomberg LP - where he also served as the awareness committee co-chair of the Black Professional Community (BPC) affinity group. Torin led group membership to grow over 150% in just 15 months while driving initiatives that garnered recognition from global directors of Diversity & Inclusion and Philanthropy.
He is a graduate of Lafayette College, where he studied Psychology, Economics & Business.
