One of 16 graduates from Lafayette College to be identified as an alumni Changemaker, Torin’s passion for creating change extends far beyond himself. He creates change through other leaders as Fresh Speakers Academy Faculty, where he is recognized as one of the nation’s best experts on public speaking. He works to tell stories and create original content as a prestigious 2x Gold Telly Award-Winning media talent host and producer. He has contributed to an APEX-Award winning Wiley Leader to Leader Journal issue and his book Who Am I to Lead? was described by the late great Frances Hesselbein as a rejuvenating force in the world of leadership.
Prior to starting his own company, Torin was part of an award-winning advertising sales team at Bloomberg LP, and co-led the launch of the company’s first Black employee resource group. Torin also formerly led DreamAfrica’s worldwide marketing efforts as the company’s first global product evangelist for inclusive storytelling, leading to his selection into the inaugural class of the TED Residency, an incubator for breakthrough ideas.
